Plan where the truck will stand
At the Quay or in Downtown New Westminster, get the loading entrance address from your building manager. It can be on a different street from the lobby. Ask whether the bay has a height limit or shares space with other deliveries, and give us the elevator booking time so we can plan when to arrive.
Check stairs at older walk-ups
For a walk-up in Uptown or a house on a sloping street, count the outdoor steps as well as the indoor flights. Note narrow landings or turns that would make a long dresser hard to carry. Measure the tightest point and share it before moving day so there’s time to work out whether the piece can be disassembled.
Allow time between pickup and delivery
If you’re going between the main part of New Westminster and Queensborough, build travel time into your elevator or key pickup schedule. Our local moving guide covers what to line up before you commit to times at both ends.
